June 2008 Some great friends came from Florida to help us again this year. Members of the Sea Breeze Community Church in Pinellas Park spent a week with us working in the Quichua communities. On the last day we took the group in two directions. Some wanted to go to the Quichua market in Otavalo and the leather market in Cotacachi, several hours north of Quito. A few of them were up to the challenge of hiking around Cuicocha Volcano Crater Lake. We got there early and hiked the lake clockwise. What a beautiful day we had!
